THE! TREE!

okay so i think that we all have a tree that we think of when we think ok... and hows hes traped. Even if its painful we still have a view of it in our minds? we all know how hard i am taking his death right?! (Libba Bray why did you kill him! like kill Fee or Ann or Tom or have her in love with simon and then kill him! just dont kill Kartik!) i am taking it so hard that my book is out of town so i cant burn it! hahah i have not held it in 3 months! okay so back to the pointe.
is my tree that i see Kartik in. It is about a five min walk from my house this photo was taken Aug 28 2007 by ME! laying down on the ground taking pic with friends i just happend to move the cam and boom i hit click and there was this pic i think it turned out good... if you want ill post the other end of the what we were trying to do when i desided lest take a pic of the tree and then the sky

About Kartik/The Tree... I have a question.

Is Kartik like... free? Or is he trapped like Eugenia? And if he is, wouldn't the whole thing start to happen again? And how would Gemma see him in her "afterlife" or whatever?

Kartik is trapped and. . umm Eugenia is dead.

No it wouldn't start to happen again because the 'bad stuff' (dorky name but I'm drawing a blank for a deep one) is dead and banished from his sacrifice.

I'm kinda fuzzy on that answer but. . . *shrug* the ending of TSFT was awhile ago.

I think that Gemma will still be able to see Kartik - like she saw Eugenia. But I doubt Kartik will turn evil

I pictured the tree like a fatter, leafier whomping willow from the chamber of secrets.

I didn't really picture it plump...

I sort of pictured it as a spiney but strong looking tree

Hmm... Has anyone seen the movie The Fountain?

My dad usually picks out the worst movies ever (this in my opinion was not his worst, but still interestingly boring) and we have these "family nights" where we all have to do something "as a family."

So anyway, the movie was really all about this dead girl/the tree of life, and that's what I imagined the tree to look like. A beautiful, colorful and amazing tree smack in the middle of the Winterlands. So yeah.

I imagined it like a tree you would see in the middle of a snowy field. It's branchy and the color of ash with no leaves, but steardy nontheless.

Kartik -- Another reason to hug a tree.

I guess I sorta had a couple images of the tree. At first it was surrounded by snow (Winterlands), but as the stry progressed it ended up looking more like it was fall.

For me it was just a beautiful tree with warmth and rainbows and fairies singing but then if you looked outside, it's all snowy and cold and just void of leaves and stuff.
